This has been our go to pizza place for 12 years. First, the owner is a nice guy and is at this location a lot. The pizza is always good. We can always find coupons online or ask about specials. We also order the Greek and antipasto salads and they are fresh and delicious. One if the best things about this place is their homemade ranch dressing. You can order a few 4 ounce containers on the side and wow, is it good. It's that perfect homemade restaurant ranch that goes great with breadsticks or the salads. I usually order a few extra containers to keep at home for use in other salads later in the week.
Papa Romano's is well known. I don't have much to add on the food. The food quality and their 'pizza style' is well established. I did want to write mostly just for this location's exceptional service. I work at a very close by business, and they deliver for free to it. Bonus! Today we needed a super fast lunch put together for our department. I called over to place an order for 30 people, and I needed it fast. 30 minutes was my desired window, it showed up in 25. Awesome. I've never done orders last minute, it's rude IMO. I know pizza places are used to rushing large orders during sporting events, so I was pleased to see them fill an order quickly just moments after opening for the day. The gentlemen taking my order was extremely helpful, and patient! We did the 'buffet #5' which includes choice of pizza style (square deep dish, round, or thin), bread sticks, and selection of a salad. I did the order for 25 people, which included a massive salad, and utterly massive tray of awesome bread sticks. 2 XL and 2 large pizzas. This includes up to 3 toppings on each. The employee helped me work through various topping options that he usually sees go out, and what works well. The setup came with forks, plates, napkins, and serving utensils for the salad. This was awesome, and unexpected. I was totally surprised and pleased. It was prepped very well in catering style. I love their ranch, just like 'jets' ranch that most people rave about. I had the ranch added as it's not included. Much thanks from my co-workers and I to the Romano's team at this location!
I remember when this chain first came to the Metro Detroit area back when I lived in Troy. Its Bambino Bread is just like Little Cesar's bread. While walking my dog in my mom's neighborhood I found a coupon (my mother's child am I)* for 1 medium one topping pizza and an order of Bambino Bread for $7.00. Add a salad you make at home and that's one cheap meal for two. The Bambino Bread was just as I remembered it and their square deep dish pizza was very satisfying. *The next morning my mom took my dog out for a walk and came back with two of these coupons (I think she snitched them from somebody's mailbox.). :)
